Building Towards Manchester Harp Festival 2027
I am delighted to share our continuing vision for the Manchester Harp Festival, which will take place in February 2027 if we can reach our target funding. It is going well so far, and I wanted to say an enormous thank you to all of you who have already made a donation.
More than just a music event, the festival is a celebration of creativity, inclusivity, and cultural connection.
It’s where internationally renowned harpists meet the rising stars of tomorrow; where beginners find their first spark of inspiration; and where the beauty of the harp is shared not only on stage, but in schools, community centres, and across Manchester’s diverse communities.
Following the amazing success of the Harpathon 2025 and the generous donations received so far, we’re excited to build on this momentum as we work towards the 2027 festival. Our goal is to strengthen Manchester’s position as a vibrant UK hub for harp excellence, while continuing to expand our educational and community outreach programmes. The festival will bring together world-class performers, local talent, students, and young professionals in a joyful, inclusive celebration that uplifts and inspires.
To help us achieve this vision, we’re seeking partners and supporters who share our passion. Your contribution will ensure the festival’s future, support aspiring harpists, and help us bring the harp to new audiences.

Let’s Make it Happen: MANCHESTER HarpFestival 2027.
Warmest Regards,
Louise Thomson, Festival Director – MANCHESTER HarpFestival
